Western culture, throughout most of its history, has been nearly equivalent to christians culture, and a large portion of the population of the western hemisphere can be described as cultural Christians. The notion of :Europe" and the "Western World" has been intimately connected with the concept of "Christianity and Christendom" many even credit the synthesis of a unified European identity to Christianity.





Western culture, sometimes equated with western civilization, occidental culture, the western world,western society, European civilization or Christian civilization is a team used very broadly to refer to a heritage of social norms, ethical values, traditional customs, belief system, political systems and specific artifacts and technologies that have some origin or association with Europe.
